Learn to make apps for the TVOS platform and learn to code. This course is for beginners.

What's Inside

Do you want to build your own apps for the Apple TV? Whether you have never coded before or have developed in iOS, with this course you can learn the fundamentals of making apps in Xcode and Swift for tvOS.

We will begin by covering the fundamentals of the Swift programming language. This course does not assume any level of experience and is therefore perfect for beginners! We will cover basic programming concepts for people who have never programmed before.

If you do have experience developing for iOS or macOS, this course will give you a head start into developing for tvOS. Throughout these tutorials, we will build – from scratch – three functional tvOS apps:

Quiz App – We will create a multiple-choice quiz, where we will even keep track of the user's score!

Dialogue Tree App – Much like a chat bot, a user will be able to have a conversation with a computer character.

Interactive Story App – In this choose-your-own adventure game, a user will be able to make choices to continue their character's story.

By the end of this course, you will have three functioning apps that you can easily modify to fill in your own content. Your own apps will be up-and-running in no time!
